Infancy (0–2 years): Nutrition plays a greater role than genetics in determining height. Inadequate nutrition during this golden window can significantly affect development.

Adolescence (7–18 years): Children may grow an average of 7–10 cm per year, with a total increase of 25–28 cm during puberty. Proper nourishment is essential during this rapid growth phase.
